Alliance Lille, Couvent des Minimes is a subtile combination of history, space and comfort combined with the charm of the Minimes brothers ancient monastery. The cloister and rear garden was restored in 1990. The building is a superb example of Flemish architecture dating back to 17th century. The glass and metal additions to the structure harmonise beautifully with the bricks. It is a unique place that provides a sense of peace and magic. Only 150 metres from the Bois de Boulogne is a wonderful 50 hectares park with a fitness area and a zoo. Surrounded by the Deule boating area. |
